What are your favorite vegan cookie recipes?

Vegetarian & Vegan
Mountain Girl asked:

I am going to a political rally Friday and would like to bake cookies for the fellow supporters I meet there. I made up a wonderful vegan brownie recipe that I use all the time, but haven’t had the time to come up with my own cookie recipe yet. I am not a vegan, but I do like to bake vegan and allergy-free (no nuts) treats to take to events. People seem to appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the recipes!

Do you know any recipes for a very picky person?

Cooking & Recipes
its_victoria08 asked:

I am a terrible cook. I usually eat alone, so would prefer recipes that can be either made for a single person, or make great leftovers.

Oh, and as the question says, I’m very picky. All meats except ground beef are out, and “strange” veggies aren’t wanted either. I like beans and pasta and the normal fruits and veggies. I’m mostly looking for lunch/dinner recipes.

Thanks in advance.

Why do people post recipes on here they find online?

Cooking & Recipes
KurtNIN asked:

I’m tired of asking for recipes and getting something from another site. If I ask for a good Spicy Honey-BBQ sauce, or a orange braised chicken recipe I’ll look online first, and then come here if I can’t find what I want, or want a more personal recipe.

Is there anyone on here that has their own recipes?

Any good recipes that involve the use of a flavor injector?

Cooking & Recipes
Jake D asked:

I just bought a new flavor injector with a metal needle. Anyone here know of any good recipes, or have any ideas off the top of your head, whereby I can take one food item and inject it into another? Soon I will bey injecting some Angus burger patties with some pepperjack cheese. MMMMmmmmmmm. Later I will be injecting marshmallows with peanut butter. It’s almost evil.

What are some good recipes for homemade Christmas gifts?

Cooking & Recipes
pebble asked:

I am already planning on making fudge, and toffee but would like some more candy or dessert ideas
I am also looking for some gift jar ideas/recipes. I already plan on one for chocolate chip cookies and homemade hot cocoa. I would really like a good recipe for a blueberry muffin one if you know of any.

I have a large family and want to give each of the adults (24) a gift somewhere along these lines, but I don’t want to make all the same things so any ideas?

When you share recipes with other people, do you ever leave out an ingredient on purpose?

Cooking & Recipes
yarn whore asked:

I love sharing recipes with others, but have found that someone I have exchanged with doesn’t give the full recipe - leaves out something noncritical to the recipe. I think she does this because she does not want to share the recipe really. Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever done this when sharing a recipe?

I always make sure to give the entire recipe and even my tricks and tips to make the recipe turn out as yummy as possible. I even share the recipes I use in my baking business because I think it helps my business.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Does anyone have the recipes for the following Christmas cookies/ candies?

Cooking & Recipes
Jen asked:

Help! I lost my cookbook ( I am sure it is still in a box from my recent move) and am just beside myself. I am looking for three recipes. They all came from various Pillsbury or Betty Crocker Holiday books that you can buy at the grocery stores. I have been making these for at least 8 years.

1) Rum Pum Pum Thumbprints- Rum flavored cookie with red and green frosting in the middle.

2) Lemon Snowballs- lemon cookies that are in ball shapes and have crushed lemondrops and powdered sugar covering them.

3) Coconut Meringues- these are a candy. They are not baked and have coconut, powdered milk, candied cherries, and are topped with a hershey kiss. This is the most important recipe that I am looking for.

I tried looking on both websites and could not find.
Thanks!
Thanks for the anwers so far. I am still looking for the recipes for the thumprints and the snowballs. The snowball recipe I am looking for has crushed lemon drops in it. You roll the already baked and warm cookies in lemon drops and powdered sugar.

I was able to find my coconut macarron kisses recipe on the web!

Simple recipes that a 13 year old can do?

Cooking & Recipes
Carrie asked:

I am 13, but responsible enough to be in the kitchen alone, obviously. I’d like to make my family a batch of sweets, anything will do. No allergies, however my little brother doesn’t like nuts. I’d prefer recipes that don’t involve the oven, but if it’s all you have I’d still accept it. Thanks!

♥Carrie
Thanks to everyone for the ideas! I’ll be sure to try them all!
